Growing up, I had a mom and dad who enjoyed their weekend nursery trips, getting beautiful plants and flowers to fill our garden. I sadly, am pretty hopeless with gardening. Our new home will luckily be of a more manageable size, and easy to maintain.
I do sway for the more modern looking garden designs. The clean simplicity of the wood with the manicured greenery along with the natural stones – is just so elegantly beautiful.
Here is this weeks inspiration! I do think you can adapt these designs to fit different size gardens and even a rooftop garden.I definitely reccomend finding a good landscape architect in your area.
I started an act of kindness this morning at the local coffee shop by our offices.
The Starbucks pay it forward acts, have taken place several places in the US. It isn’t a very normal thing here in Norway, in fact when I asked the barista he just looked at me in surprise. But, was very happy to see the chain reaction!
The guy behind me got his morning coffee and paid it forward for several others. Spreading something good and cheering up the next person can be really simple. Hope you find a way to spread some kindness today! 🙂
Granite countertops is something i have wanted to incorporate into our home for a long time. Last summer, i finally got a beautiful white shiny marble countertop installed as the centrepiece for our kitchen. It is a huge splurge, but it is one of my favourite items in the kitchen.
We will be moving in a couple of months, it will be sad to part with our beautiful kitchen which we have used years on getting it exactly the way we want it. But, exciting to find inspiration for our next kitchen!

Adding mirrored pieces to rooms isn’t a new trend. But, i do like that it has become so mainstream so that there are many pieces you could find out in the stores to fit your room and your budget. It gives a room instant style and glam!
Here are some pieces I found for this weeks lookbook, enjoy!

White interiors are stunning. I am possibly drawn to it mostly because it is something I can’t do allot of in our house since our kids are still young. However, I am adding more and more of it in our house and I love the simple sophistication you get with a white theme. High maintenance – yes. But, stunning too!
